Collaborate for Green Ecology: 2025 Wuxi Green & Low-Carbon Industry Investment Conference Held Successfully

On the afternoon of September 15, the 2025 Wuxi Green and Low-Carbon Industry Investment & Matching Conference grandly kicked off in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. Over a hundred representatives from government authorities, international organizations, universities and leading green enterprises gathered here to discuss the development of the green and low-carbon industry.

Xu Jin, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Wuxi Urban Construction Development Group, stated in his address that the group will accelerate the layout of green and low-carbon industries, leverage the synergies between industry and finance, and fully advance the development of a low-carbon city.
Wang Shi, renowned entrepreneur and founder of Vanke and Deep Rock Group, spoke highly of Wuxi’s industrial clustering strengths and development potential in the green sector. He shared Deep Rock’s practices in green innovation and called on all sectors to take part in the UN Climate Change Conference, showcasing the green initiatives of Chinese enterprises to the world.
Via video message, Nitin Arora, Project Manager of the UN Global Innovation Hub for Climate Change, emphasized that systematic and people-centered innovation holds the key to low-carbon transition, and praised Wuxi as a practical model for realizing this vision.
Key projects were also promoted at the conference, including the modern wood structure industry, the Sino-Swiss Eco-City Dual-Carbon Demonstration Block, Yixing Gehu EOD Science and Innovation Park and Xiangjiang Central Procurement & Supply Chain Platform. These projects fully demonstrate Wuxi’s plans and achievements in building green industrial clusters.

During the event, a number of strategic cooperation agreements were signed on site, covering key areas such as green and low-carbon industries, energy conservation and carbon reduction in construction, prefabricated buildings, zero-carbon campus development, green power and green hydrogen, as well as ecological environment governance.
Eight major strategic cooperation deals were inked, including those between Wuxi Urban Construction Development Group and Deep Rock Group, Wuxi Construction Development Corporation and LONGi Green Energy, and Wuxi Urban Investment Group and Jiangsu Grassland Technology Group. This marks a crucial step for Wuxi in advancing industrial collaboration, technological innovation and cross-sector integration.
Notably, Wuxi Urban Investment Group entered into a strategic partnership with Jiangsu Grassland Technology Group. The two sides will carry out in-depth cooperation focusing on green prefabricated buildings, the R&D and application of low-carbon building materials, and the integration of green supply chains.
As a leading enterprise in the green building sector, Jiangsu Grassland Technology Group is committed to integrating prefabrication technologies, eco-friendly building materials and intelligent construction. This cooperation aims to develop exemplary and replicable green building projects, and facilitate the green transformation and industrial chain upgrading of Wuxi’s construction industry.

Meanwhile, the Modern Wood Structure Green & Low-Carbon Industry Alliance and Wuxi Green Building Materials Centralized Procurement & Supply Chain Alliance were officially launched at the conference. The initiatives aim to integrate industrial resources, facilitate technology sharing and expand the green market, providing institutional and organizational support for building a sound green and low-carbon industrial ecosystem in Wuxi.
During the keynote speeches, guests from Pro-Natura International, SEE Holding Group of Dubai (UAE), BSI (British Standards Institution), Huanghe University of Science and Technology, Sunrise East Group and Dongpeng Holdings shared insights covering green supply chain development, global clean energy transition, sustainable development trends, cultivation of green talents in universities and corporate innovation practices. All speakers acknowledged that cross-sector collaboration and technological innovation are pivotal to achieving the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals.

The conference strengthened industrial chain collaboration and resource integration in Wuxi’s green and low-carbon sector, laying a solid foundation for building a full-industry-chain ecosystem. Jiangsu Grassland Technology Group will continue to advance the innovation and application of green prefabrication technologies to support the national carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals. It will also actively participate in the formulation of green building standards in Wuxi and international industrial cooperation, injecting new momentum into the city’s low-carbon transition.
